OUR FAVORITE BARBEQUE SAUCE

Combine in a pot over medium heat-

1 T. butter or margerine
¼ cup red wine vinegar
3 T. honey—( I sometimes use brown sugar, it tastes the same)
¾ cup ketchup
1 T. worcestershire sauce
¾ tsp. Dry mustard
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
¾ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
¼ tsp. Dried oregano (optional)

I always double or triple this sauce.

We use this barbeque sauce on chicken, ribs, pork chops or whatever!!! I’ve had this recipe since I was seventeen years old. Keep in the refrigerator. It’s yummy!
